Tournament Format:

  • Format: Single elimination bracket style

  • Participants: No cap on the number of participants

Match Setup:

In our head-to-head Fortnite matchups, each pair of players will compete in Duos Public Matches. Here's how it works:

  • Two players are matched up against each other in a head-to-head matchup within the tournament bracket.

  • Formation: One player invites the other, forming a Duos team.

  • Game Mode: Ensure the game mode is set to "Duos."

  • Launch: Once both players are ready, start the match.

  • Gameplay and Rules:

    • Drop Separately: Both players should drop in different locations on the map. This minimizes the risk of them directly interfering with each other's gameplay and ensures they both have equal opportunities to engage with other players.

    • No Revives: If one player gets knocked down, the other should not revive them. This maintains the spirit of the competition as a 1v1, despite being in a Duos mode.

    • Win Condition: The player with the most eliminations by the end of the match (or when both are eliminated) is the winner. If both players are still alive at the end and they're among the last players standing, they can choose to engage in a direct 1v1 duel, or the player with more eliminations up to that point can be declared the winner.

    • No Teaming: While you're in a Duos team, it's essential to remember that this is still a 1v1 competition. Players should avoid teaming up against others, as this gives an unfair advantage and is against Fortnite's terms of service.

  • Bracket Progression: This process repeats in each round of the tournament, with winners advancing to subsequent rounds until a tournament champion is determined through successive eliminations.

This format ensures that players must showcase their individual skills and strategies in every Solo Public Match, making each matchup an exciting and competitive battle of wits and Fortnite prowess.

Game Rules:

  • Mode: Battle Royale No Build Mode

  • Matches: Each matchup consists of 3 matches.

  • Scoring: Points are calculated as follows for each match:

    • 1 point for each elimination

  • Matchup Winner: The player with the higher score after 3 matches wins the matchup.
