Mark your calendars for the ultimate collegiate and pro-am Call of Duty Modern Warfare III LAN event, coming to Cedar Point Esports in Sandusky, OH, this May 24th-26th, 2024. Gather your elite team and step into the arena where academic prowess meets competitive gaming at its finest. With entry at $300 per primary team and $200 for secondary teams, this is the battleground for collegiate champions and rising pro-am stars to clash in a spectacle of skill, strategy, and teamwork. 1st: $1,500
2nd: $700
3rd: $300
Prize Pool is $2,500 based on max teams participating. Minimum 6 teams required to host competition.
Prize pool will be adjusted accordingly (prorated) up to the point of 16 teams competing for full prize pool.
The event schedule will also be adjusted accordingly based on number of participants. 6-12 teams will reduce the event to only being held on Saturday 5/25 and a double elimination bracket only. Friday scrimmage slots will still be made available. More than 12 teams will keep the event a 2-day tournament with group play and advancement to bracket play.
In the unfortunate case where we have to cancel the tournament due to lack of participation, teams will receive a refund of team passes within 10 days of last registration date of 5/17/24, so by 5/27/24. Cancellation of the event, if deemed viable, will be decided no later than 5/3/24, the last date to register without late fees.
Prize Pool payouts will be made within 30-days of event end date via PayPal.

We do have great rates incoming for area hotels during this event weekend, however they are still being confirmed. You can help us lock in the best rates by proceeding to the link below and submitting a "Group Block Request" (option on the left) for the number of rooms you and your team will need. Room rates have recently been updated. You can select your room option and then complete the information form below and you will be contacted to finalize your reservation. The pricing will show for the number of nights in your request, however, nothing is due now and you will be under no obligation to book the room once you are contacted with available options.

VOLUNTEER:
Interested in supporting the Great Lakes Classic as a member of our Volunteer Team? Tournament Event Volunteers, provided they complete all Volunteer Requirements, will receive free venue admission to the event for its duration, a Volunteer Staff T-Shirt, and a 5-Day Pass to Cedar Point Amusement Park for use during the 2024 Season.

The GLC Event Board reserves the right to adjust and enforce rules for this event at anytime and for any reason.
*Scrimmage session are only available to be purchased by teams registering to compete.
**Purchaser of Team Pass will be contacted by tournament admin to confirm roster of team competing.
***Preliminary Group Schedule/Bracket will be released by May 10th.
****Deadline to register is May 5, 2024. After, there is a $50 Late Fee assessed to Team Pass purchases.
*****The Pro Points restriction for a player on any team is 150. Additionally, teams must be in the CCL and currently standing in either the bottom 4 of D1, in D2, or participate as an Academy Team. If the team roster is not in the CCL, we ask that you submit a roster to this form (coming soon) for approval by Event Board. Event Board is not CPE, but is made up of notable and participating college coaches, advisors, and CCL Staff. The goal is to make this event accessible to non-pro teams, lower tier collegiate teams, and pro-am teams lacking notable wins either online or at LAN events. While striving for fairness across the outlined skills level, the Event Board reserves the right to refuse participation in this event to any team in the name of fair play or for any other reason.
